started pitching with the Hamilton Horseshoe Club in 1975. Playing
Ability was around 15%. Every year it has increased and now stands at
39%. In 1986 he was elected president of the club and became
Vice-President of Mass. State in 1988. In 1980 he organized an indoor winter league, which lasted five years, with three separate nights of play. There was a single, double, and a club league. Along with able appointees as Secretary/Treasurer, and Statistician to control all the activities. During 1976-1987 he has been tournament director of the Mass. Open and or the Mass. State, including the Mass. State Doubles, a period of twelve years. Through all these years he has served as scorekeeper, court maintenance and statistician, and helping other directors whenever able to do so. |
