1991
Ray Pearson of Warwick, Rhode Island. The first records we have on Ray are a second place finish in the Rhode Island State Championship in 1947. In the next nine years he won the State title four times and finished second four times, and third once averaging 64%.

In six New England Meets he won the championship twice and finished 2nd twice, 3rd once and 4th once competing against Edgar Landry and Joe Comeau and other top-notch pitchers averaging over 70% in two of those meets.

He also won the Hartford, Ct. Invitational once, the Ct. Open twice, the New England Grange Championship three times and Pawtuxet Valley title once that we know of. Ray stopped competitive pitching in 1955 due to pressure of his business.
